Why Give?
Salem Lutheran Church is committed to seeing lives transformed by the good news of Jesus. Our ongoing ministry relies on the generous financial giving of our members.
The ultimate reason Christians generously give their resources to support ministry is because that is what Jesus did for us. Paul, one of the first Christian leaders after Jesus, wrote powerfully about this – ‘For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich’ (2 Corinthians 8:9).
How to Give
There are a number of convenient ways to give to Salem Lutheran Church:
Direct Credit (Electronic Transfer)
This is the simplest way to give from our perspective and the only electronic method of giving that does not attract fees. You set up and retain control of your giving via your Internet banking to transfer funds from your account to ours at the frequency that works best for you.
Sunday Collection Plate (cash or check)
Gifts can also be made by placing cash or checks in the collection plates which are passed during our services. Please make checks payable to: ‘Salem Lutheran Church’.
